Overall Satisfaction with Catchpoint
I use Catchpoint for Synthetic tests (Browser and API) and SSL tests. We run browser tests on SaaS applications, and it quickly helps us detect any issues on those applications, which was impossible with the legacy tools we used earlier. We also perform functionality tests, which has helped us reduce application downtime to NIL, and thus, our customers are less impacted now.
Pros
- Browser Test.
- API Test.
- SSL Test.
Cons
- Schedule Downtime based on labels.
- Performance of CatchPoint Portal UI.
- Fewer Outages.
- Time Saved on diagnosing issue on any node.
I was able to start quickly with the help of the Catchpoint Value engineers they assigned. In other products, we don't have a dedicated engineer assigned to us. After creating tests, you will start seeing results immediately and will notice any results after a day when you compare the tests from previous runs.
