Overall Satisfaction with Celonis
Celonis was used in my organization to mine current processes within our ERP system and map them in the Celonis system. We did not have current documentation within our organization so this would help us (1) map our current processes and (2) use this for a future ERP implementation project.

- Helpful if there was one point of contact at Celonis; we work with many people depending on each process
- Email addresses for Celonis personnel were 2 different addresses and confuses our staff when setting meetings
- Identified multiple areas of opportunity in current processes
- Being able to take an old system with no documentation and creating a diagram for business users
- Will save lots of time once ERP implementation begins (Full ROI not determined yet)
Team was considering Genepact to work on this project, however it was determined that we wanted direct support from the Celonis staff to assist since this would be the first time our company had completed a project in this nature. It turned out we made a good decision. Cost between the two was not material.
The framework around the Celonis roadmap was very helpful. As we continued through the various project phases, we often circled back to the original framework slides to explain the goals of each project phase. I would say towards the end of our mapping project, the quality of the maps suffered a bit due to some staffing changes.
Celonis was able to identify processes in which are currently manual and could go an automated route. Things such as RPA and other processes to improve employee productivity and support digital transformation. While meeting with different departments across our company, it fueled the automation thinking across the site. Although some of these ideas are not implemented yet, I think the list of ideas will make it into our next system.
