Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
We are an entrepreneurial business that is streamlining our processes and implementing best practice to push us into the right direction. We have only just started, but we are excited to see what Ceridian can do for our business in the long run. So far we have implemented the Payroll and HCM components and have recently implemented the recruiting module.
Pros
- Mobile Dayforce app for employees reduces the paper paystubs. Employees have the ability to access the schedules and pay in real time on their personal devices.
- Reduces paper - now that we have implemented the recruiting module, we no longer have paper applications or requisition forms. Everything is controlled and managed online.
- Processes are further streamlined and managers are held accountable by the system through recruiting, onboarding, schedules.
Cons
- Lifetime hours of employees on paystubs
- Dollar amounts accrued and days on paystubs
- A chat function
- It's still hard to say as we implemented payroll and HCM for just over a year [ago] and still need to tweak the system.
- Implementation Managers are hit and miss - we've had some junior managers which have posed some challenges.
- Professional Services have been a challenge as we are a small organization with some complexities and therefore are not provided with the adequate POD i.e. location and experience.
The time and attendance linked to payroll has already reduced duplication. There is less room for error as there is only one system, whereas if you have multiple systems and uploads then is always an delay or issues with the data and then a duplication of work.
