Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
Ceridian is used for our timekeeping, payroll processing, benefits administration and will eventually be used for onboarding.
- Calculates payroll quickly.
- Handles multi-state payroll well.
- Generates payroll reports minutes after committing.
- Customer service hours could be better.
- System glitches can be problematic.
- Silverlight is very problematic.
- Lots of system maintenance.
- Don't like that some things that should be incorporated into the system have to be entered as an enhancement request.
- Reduced reliance on paper.
- Employees are more hands-on and accountable.
- Less overhead due to employees clocking in and out.
Ceridian updates withholding rates are new tables are received, we have set overtime policies in place and we also have various tiers set up for leave accruals and insurance premiums.
Having real-time data makes it so much easier for us to rely on what has been entered. From the moment that someone enters and saves information, all we have to do is refresh our screen and we will see the changes. It also helps with payroll processing issues.
We previously had a system in which there were third party applications and things were so much slower. Having issues with the third party application could interfere with day to day tasks, as well as disrupt payroll processing.
