Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)

We use Cisco Identity Services Engine extensively with all of its features, like RADIUS and TACACS. We also use, passive identity and Catalyst Center Integration for SGT.
We use it for VPN user authentication with Cisco DUO and Microsoft.
We have distributed deployment with 2 MNT and Monitoring NODES and more than 10 PSNs.

Its well suited for large NAC deployments, and TACACS device management.
It's great for creating Guest network with portals. And the integration with Catalyst Center is great!
It's less appropriate for small customers that do not require NAC or do not use TACACS. It's not well suited to be on UCX platforms due to the aging of the hardware servers. It's more suited to be deployed on VMware or Nutanix.
