Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Jabber

The business recently, like other companies, transitioned to a work from anywhere model and moved from desk phones to soft phones, in right about the perfect time to make remote work a viable solution to COVID.
  • Connection.
  • Reliability.
  • Security protocol.
  • Clarity on weak networks.
  • We basically immediately saw benefit in investment, due to old phone system being obsolete and difficult - and costly parts were no longer needed.
We use basically all versions of potential video conferencing software in the business, but Jabber is used in place of a desk phone, allowing the user to be anywhere and still use company phone resources for work related calls and meetings.

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), ANSYS SCADE Suite, SOLIDWORKS
So far using the Jabber software has been a seamless transition form desk phone set ups to soft phone and work from anywhere type of environment. Connection is good when internet speeds are reliable and the clarity is also good providing that an external to the laptop speaker is adapted to the working hardware.
