Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki MX

I use Cisco Meraki MX for my customers for their SDWAN solutions

Pros

  • SDWAN
  • Cloud Based Management
  • Seamless Integration with Cisco Umbrella
  • Centralized policy management
  • Built in IPS

Cons

  • If the IPS policy screens are integrated with Firewall policies similar to Cisco Secure Firewall
  • Secure Branch Connectivity
  • All in box for branches which provides WAN termination, Security and Wireless
  • Operational dashboards with customisation
Meraki Deployment has significantly reduced engineering effort required to deploy sites. As a Systems integrator, we have been able to reduce implementation costs for customers due to this.
Provides secure connectivity between branches with a centralised management plane
Because we have experienced how it can scale across multiple departments and sites with ease

Cisco Meraki MX are easier to integrate with any WAN service. For example, it automatically detected a PPPOE service and configured all components by itself. I had to provide only the credentials. Where if it was another device would have taken good 30 mins.
