Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki MX Firewalls

It's used by the entire organization. It solves the failover feature that usually was big trouble for us. Everytime the MPLS failed, our team needed to work as crazy to fix again.
  • Failover control
  • Web management
  • QOS
  • Mix VPN and other links to ensure safety
  • Have the option to use more failover connections. Two are enough in most cases.
  • Be a little bit more granular in the dashboards.
  • The "application control" feature should have documentation to shout what the application is. Urls and ports related to that application.
  • No more downtime caused by a single link.
  • Report of web access, by IP, users, and the destination.
  • Schedules reports.
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
No need to write scripts, everything is controlled by the web interface. When you need to apply a rule, there's no need to restart the entire script or server.
Well suited for scenarios where do you need a simple interface to manage the environment, maybe even for non-IT professionals. Less appropriate when you need to manage your environment without answering to a central location. This is one of the main features, but for us, using a single appliance, it's really not good.
