Overall Satisfaction with Cisco SSL VPN

The entire organization uses it currently for remote employees. This allows all remote employees to access localized servers and shared drives in the organization.

Pros

  • Easy and simple interface for users to get up and running.
  • The VPN rarely drops and seems very reliable.
  • It is easy to switch between Cisco VPN profiles to connect to new servers as needed.

Cons

  • The interface though simple, it really should allow for more features and metrics to display for the user.
  • Adding a new profile is not a simple task and the user needs to know where to go in Windows (or OS) to add the file.
  • Cisco VPN has allowed our business to expand over the globe as employees no longer have to be hired regionally.
  • The support efforts are minimal for the IT staff as the application works reliably well.
  • Our company has used this application for several years and has been very pleased with the results of switching to Cisco VPN.
An organization that has the need for remote employees or off-site work will benefit from this application. The application works and is reliable. When it comes to a VPN, that is about all you can ask for.
