Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Umbrella
The business problem and scope was how my company protect the organization from DNS related malware. We were looking for a proven and trusted product by a company that had years of experience in the field. We use Cisco in many areas and decided that this product was best for us.

- Make advance configurations easier to understand and deploy
- Content filtering needs to be expanded

- Positive impact from solution performance for administrators and management not concerned as much about some security concerns

The main organizational challenges faced were getting users into the interconnected network quickly, easily and safely. Even though all Cisco solutions were not utilized for this, the ones that were (Cisco Meraki devices, Cisco Duo) worked like a champ and provided high end output as expected by products from Cisco.
My companies users have reported an excellent and simplified experience in our hybrid working model which includes Cisco products in key areas.
- Sophos Web Content Filtering, Symantec Content & Malware Analysis, Barracuda Web Security Gateway and Trend Micro Web Security
I have used several different solutions over the years. The Cisco Umbrella solution is by far a way better solution than anything I have used. IT is easy to easy with basic implementations vs. others. Cisco Umbrella is more accurate than other solutions (though not as deeper than some content filtering solutions). Cisco Umbrella has a very good reporting piece as well compared to other solutions.
