Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Cisco WebEx meetings is used by my organization through the carrier appointments we have. When they have webinars for us to learn about their products, this is one of the platforms they use. It allows for individuals all around the country to be able to have access to the information being provided, and it’s a very easy platform to use.

Pros and Cons

Easily navigated
Sound quality is high
Allows for documents and slideshows to be shared

Direct contact with facilitators not readily available

Return on Investment

Allows for knowledge to be obtained from many different sources
Easy to use so training isn’t costly

Customer Support

I have not had to use this support.

Adoption

It depends which carrier Is using this as the platform to present their class, and how many attendees are there. Since it is easy to use, there has not been any issues from company wise use

Alternatives Considered

TeamViewer and GoToMeeting

Each of these are easily navigated but I believe WebEx has the most features to be used during the webcast.

Likelihood to Recommend

Like previously stated, the software is best suited to be used when information is to be shared with a large number of people, possibly remotely, or across a widespread range of locations. It could even work in smaller groups, with information being shared and correspondence between participants being shared as well.
