Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings

Cisco Webex Meetings is used for customer-facing calls in my organization. We use Google Hangouts for internal calls, but the vast majority of my customers can't use Google Hangouts due to firewall issues. As such, I have the choice of Webex and Zoom for these calls, and I tend to default to Cisco Webex Meetings due to simplicity to join and ease of storing/sharing recordings.
  • Ease of creating/storing/sharing [recordings]
  • [The] simplicity of taking screen share controls
  • Ability to mute entry/exit tones (surprisingly important on large meetings)
  • It can be cumbersome if updates need to be downloaded
  • Sometimes people without accounts take 2-3 minutes to get into a call
  • Sometimes attendees don't realize they can just dial in via phone
  • Cisco Webex Meetings has been integral to meeting with my customers during the pandemic
  • I'm in sales, so meetings are key to closing deals
  • Cisco Webex Meetings creates a secure place to collaborate
I find Cisco Webex Meetings to be the easiest to use from the following standpoints:
- Google Hangouts can have firewall issues for my customers; Cisco Webex Meetings doesn't
- Our company finds it hard at times to take presenter rights in Teams, and we often need to present
- Skype can be difficult to log into; Cisco Webex Meetings isn't
- Some of my accounts weren't allowed by their internal IT teams to use Zoom when Zoom had security issues; Cisco Webex Meetings was always considered an acceptable option

Do you think Webex Meetings delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Webex Meetings's feature set?

Yes

Did Webex Meetings live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Webex Meetings go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Webex Meetings again?

Yes

I can think of only one outage day since I started using Cisco Webex Meetings exclusively for my customer calls (March 2020). The only other "availability" issue is when it takes the customer (without an account themselves) 2-3 minutes to log into a call. This can be frustrating for them during the process, but they are usually fine once they get in.
I've run meetings of all sizes on Cisco Webex Meetings, from two attendees to 50+. I've never experienced a scalability issue, either with the meeting itself or with sharing the recording later.
I have never had performance issues with Cisco Webex Meetings. If I had, it wouldn't have been my default platform for this year (I could also use other platforms).
Cisco Webex Meetings is great for small or large meetings, including those with screen sharing and video capabilities, to see each other's faces. Cisco Webex Meetings rarely has issues with customer's firewalls, which can be an issue with Google Hangouts. Cisco Webex Meetings also didn't have the security issues that Zoom faced early in the pandemic.
