Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it as a collaboration platform mainly focused on video conferences. It is used by the whole organization and it helps to reduce travel expenses and give a huge boost to transversal collaboration in the whole organization. IT Staff was always worried about having all the VideoConference infraestructure up and ready and with Webex Cloud-as-a-Service aproach, was so easy to support our VC needs as an organization with a relative small IT staff.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Video conferences are fast and easy with a "push the big green button" approach.
Enables me to create collaboration spaces quickly and easily.
It's closely integrated with third-party collaboration solutions like Microsoft Office 360.
Video communication has been improved enabling one-to-one video communication without any IT staff involved.
Enabling easy to use multi-site video conferencing.
Wireless pairing synchronization (proximity) is a superb feature.

Cons

Screen sharing with IOS can be tricky and has been known to crash.
Outlook calendar integration is so tricky that almost allway need to have specialized IT staff to support it
Chat GUI is not as intuitive as competitors

Zoom and BlueJeans

Easy third party integration, very high stability, low lattency and almost no jitter. Enterprise features with a very complete integration and implementation channels. Support and Sales representatives located in our region (LATAM/MEXICO). Work Flow and automation with its very complete an mature API's that is compatible with a lot of automation platforms like automate.io or zappier.

Support Rating

It is a user-friendly solution with a modern and clean interface. Its cloud-as-a-service approach with one of the most stable and low latency SaaS and IaaS platform, that permits a granular growth with a very good ratio off OPEX vs CAPEX. Finally one of the decision-maker criteria was the Cisco ciber-security awareness, that is recognized as one of the highest between solution providers.

Usability

Cause its very clean and mature user interface also cause the flexibility of its open API, that permits the third party integration with a lot of popular solution and services, enabling high customization and automation. Webex interface is so consistent in and similar that you don't even notice the difference when you connect from a web browser or from a room equipment.

Likelihood to Recommend

Webex is great for a distributed organization with a lot of locations and a lot of branch offices even with best effort wan links. It is well suited for small IT Staff organization cause de Cloud-as-a-Service aproach significantly reduces the OPEX budget. It has a kind of tricky old-fashion GUI what makes difficult to use to new users.
