Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense
We book trips through it and submit expenses with Concur Travel and Expense. I'm also part of the IT Team that supports it and it's the interface. It is a great tool for booking trips through preferred vendors, and it expedites the process with user details and payment methods. It also makes submitting expenses rather simple due to being mobile-friendly.
Pros
- Easy to book trips
- User-friendly
Cons
- The mobile app is lacking. It's not formatted for a small screen, so there is a lot of scrolling, and drop-down lists don't always load properly. Submitting expenses on the phone is key, so this app needs some TLC.
- Not all trips can be booked through Concur. If there is a discount code/URL it won't recognize it. For example, booking a room at Bellagio for SAP Insider couldn't be booked through Concur Travel and Expense due to the event discount.
Nothing really innovative. It's a simple tool
It is great for enforcing submission and approval deadlines.
