Overall Satisfaction with Conductor Searchlight

Sales, content marketing and of course SEO teams are using Conductor. It's a really interesting tool to manage our visibility and increase our website relevance. For example, we can detect the most relevant keywords for a product. Category managers are using the keyword tool to know clients- needs and to match with them.

  • Competitors insights, like best pages and best keywords
  • Answer boxes

Cons

  • I think the tool could improve the paid search area
  • Botify integration instead of deep crawl
  • Search console integration: level pages analysis is missing
  • We can create some forecasts to work on the right keywords
Team Support is pretty fast to give help. For the moment I don't have any issues with support.
Conductor is interesting for the SEO team but I think it's really powerful because it's easy to use for non-SEO users. I think we are better together and I like to share my tools when it's possible and Conductor is one of the best for this. Making SEO understandable for everyone is the good way to increase a website ranking and this tool is very helpful for this.
It's well-suited if you want to track specific keywords or create some segments to see how powerful your website is ranking. It's one of the best tools I have ever used for this. But if you want to analyse Google crawl volume, it's not possible and it's better to use Botify. It's the same thing with internal linking, anchor etc. But it's not a big deal because it's a ranking tool first.

Using Conductor Searchlight

As I said, Conductor is very easy to use, there are a lot of deep links and when you need some information you don't need to research it, you just need to click on the item. Insight Stream and Workspaces save time each week. If you need to create a weekly report, it's fast and efficient.

    Hi Joe, Thank you for reply. For paid : it should be great to have an export button Very helpful to see if Google shopping ads are cannibalizing SEO It's can be great also to have daily datas because search is moving in real time today. For the Crawl Volume, it's not a big deal for me because i'm using botify for crawl and logs analysis. But it can be helpul to have more data in content performance.* Perhaps : meta descritption canonical link alternate href lang I would love to have a full view of answer boxes, i think it's the next big feature you should have. With Search console integration, i should don't have to go in search console for keyword search volume or page level search volume. It's already de case for keyword but not for page level. One more thing, it would be awesome to share conductor segment with search console. I know that not that easy but datas will be more undestanding for category managers. I think I've done, it's a great tool and the support is just wonderfull. Have a nice day
