Overall Satisfaction with Conductor Searchlight

Conductor is used mostly by the SEO team. The PPC team and analytics team would use it from time to time as well to do some research and check the reports. We also use it to share the reports with other stakeholders who do not have an account in the conductor platform. We are using it on our day to day work, and the key items we are addressing are:

  • Identify new opportunities
  • Competition analysis
  • Measure the success
  • Their support team is the best! Always online to answer questions and guide us in the right direction.
  • The Explorer tool - Very easy and intuitive tool to identify new opportunities, check on overall domain performance and how it does compare to competitions.
  • Content Performance - The tool I like the most because it can analyze the organic traffic performance of a page, group of pages based on tour own custom settings. This helps me to understand where I need to focus and how to prioritize my SEO work.
  • Daily updated for tracked keywords - This is the only area I think they need to improve. With many Google updates, website changes happening every day I need to see the impact the next day if not right away.
  • Conductor helped us a lot with projecting the future impact on rankings, traffic, and revenue. This allows us to present the numbers to our stakeholders and to move forward with our strategies and initiatives.
  • Content Performance report helped us to understand the impact of the previously completed work on different groups of pages, which allowed us to implement the same strategy across multiple other products.
It is imperial for us to get the most accurate date for our SEO strategy. The multiple tools available in Conductor provide us with a large amount of data starting with keyword intent and ending with buyers journey. All this help is to better understand what is the next piece of content we need to create the page we need to optimize.
Discovering new content opportunities it the key for our new content creation efforts. The content team is relying on us to provide them with new content ideas, keywords to be used in the content, and what is the impact on the website from the content they are creating, Being able to show them reports with a positive impact from their work is key for our collaboration with them.
The Conductor support team is doing a great job. This is one of the factors why we continue to be using them. Onboarding, professionalism and manages services (which we still using) are provided not just by regular stuff but by the actual SEO specialist. That's incredible support, and it makes it easier with planning SEO strategies for a long term ahead.
I have used BrightEdge in the past and it was quite complicated to understand how to we leverage it to get things done and see the impact from that. The high knowledgable experts Conductor has made the life of our SEO team much easier.
People spend a tremendous amount of time reporting. With Conductor, we have cut the time for our SEO reports by 80%. It helps to inform other teams about the changes in the SEO performance and how we can work together with them to benefit from that. For instance, the SEO reports we have in place help PPC team to come with better strategies for paid advertising.
