Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
ConnectWise allows my company to access systems at my client sites so we can effectively, and in real time, access the information we need. Also, the cloud print capability is a tremendous advantage. ConnectWise is very user-friendly, and fairly easy to set-up and establish connectivity.
- Reliability. Once a connection is established, we've experience no problems with connectivity (provided a reasonable Internet bandwidth is available).
- Remote print capability. This is primarily why I switched to ConnectWise. Other 3rd party connectivity programs have inferior (or no) remote print capability.
- Price. ConnectWise has the best value in 3rd party connectivity that I've found.
- Initial Set-up. If you're not an I.T. geek (and I'm not), ConnectWise can be difficult to establish permissions, groups, etc.
- In my case, the alternatives to ConnectWise are:
- Other 3rd party connectivity programs with less functionality and value,
- Faxing
- Couriers, all of which are more costly and less time-efficient.
Problems with reliable connectivity and print capability with LogMeIn and GoToMyPC, coupled with the insane increase in price, forced me to seek alternatives - which is when I found ConnectWise.
