CrowdStrike Falcon Review
Overall Satisfaction with CrowdStrike Falcon Endpoint Protection
The agent is deployed in all endpoints and centrally managed by a team of security professionals. Works as any other next/new gen AV/IPS/IDS but with a more friendly UI that allows for a more granular and customizable security strategy. It's very scalable and its compatibility allows for greater coverage which allows for mitigation of SPFs.
Pros
- The balance between ease of use and granular control.
- Compatibility.
- Customer service.
Cons
- Action performed logs not included in the executive/technical report.
- Some problems and glitches with the management tool.
- Some web interface items are not very intuitive.
- It doesn't cover legacy systems.
- An update stopped a critical service that took about 5 hours restart; investigations are still happening.
- Mobile compatibility arrived too late and the integration wouldn't be as robust as the main MDM solution. It didn't meet the requirements.
Business requirements, mainly. The most important/useful items we appreciate is ease of use and customer service and this product exceeds expectations in that regard. Other offers cover legacy systems and remain with that solution. However, the granularity that you can introduce to an environment is outstanding, all that without losing the simplicity of use.
