Stress and worry-free protection
Overall Satisfaction with CrowdStrike Falcon Endpoint Protection
Crowdstrike Falcon was a top candidate for our organization to replace our anti-virus at the time. It beat out all the other options we were testing out. It addresses our need for an endpoint antivirus for our entire fleet of managed endpoints, which includes macOS, Windows, and Linux. This includes 10,000 endpoints and hundreds of servers.
Pros
- Deployment.
- Incident Reporting.
- Machine Learning incident response.
Cons
- GUI for the dashboard. It's a lot.
- More mac and linux features that windows has.
- Reinstallation double entries.
- Peace of mind for endpoints.
- Fast and quick incident remediation (instant usually).
- Resource Footprint as no on-prem server is needed.
The features for Crowdstrike Falcon far outweigh the competition. From the cloud infrastructure, implementation, deployment, and even the support staff, Falcon is beyond anything that we have used. It's only going to get better from here on out and believe that we will be customers for a very long time. All the other solutions we have used and/or tested just don't compete at the same level as Falcon.
Yes - We replaced Symantec Endpoint Protection. The contract between our organization and Symantec was coming up. There was no doubt that we will not renew at the time as the quality and price of Symantec Endpoint Protection were degrading and not up to our standards. Symantec maybe caused more problems than it actually helped in our organization.
