Overall Satisfaction with Cvent Event Management

Some SMM accounts/ departments within BCD M&I have their own instance of Cvent. BCD M&I also has their own instance for the event side of the business.
  • Budget. You can completely customize the budget module by creating a customized library of your categorizes and sub categories.
  • Registration Tool. You can create more fun/ customized registration sites and it also has some survey functionality.
  • The RFP/ Sourcing functionality is robust and easy to navigate
  • Reporting functionality is a little rigid. For example: We can only pull x, y and z question into x,y and z column, but we need it to be done differently. More customization in the reporting tool would be a huge help
  • I am not abreast of the ROI Cvent has had on our company
Cvent software provides better customer care, more customization for most functionalities, a better budget tool, and a more fun, robust registration tool. Again, customization is what sets Cvent apart from their competitors.
I would certainly renew and recommend, but I am not the decision maker
I feel that the Cvent software is extremely easy to use and to learn. The way it is designed just makes sense. You can easily make changes if you have administrative rights and if for some reason you can't, their customer service is superior to that of any other software in it's competitive set.
