Overall Satisfaction with D&B Hoovers

We use it for company information (mostly private company info), OneStop Company reports for profiling, list building, industry information using industry codes, etc. The project delivery analyst team are the primary users of the subscription at our organization. We also use it for lead gen at times to plan our BD roadshows globally.

Extremely helpful in identifying some nuggets on elusive private company numbers. It helps in all tasks - client billables, own intellectual capital building, as well as business development. We use list building, and OneStop reports feature fairly regularly in all three types of tasks as outlined above. Happy with the results so far - meets expectations.
Yes - at a basic level, it helps classify and segment. While this is a repeat question in the survey, but happy to reiterate D&B Hoovers' role in business development through the build a list, company information - contacts, numbers, as well as OneStop profiles for the potential business prospects.

Well suited for some nuggets on obscure/small/private company information. Less reliable for updated financials. For example, at times, it provides inputs on tough-to-find information for private companies, but on the other hand, the data may be questionable given it is largely modeled. It would be good to have more reliable and validated numbers.
