Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Challenge I can say is if you don't have paid access of D&B Hoovers then it provides a limited details on their page which is not useful if you are looking for financial data in a detailed manner. Opportunity- I believe D&B Hoovers is best for me and my teammates for company research profiles. As it provides relevant data with appropriate financials and very user friendly database. Research team and newsletter creation team are primary user in my organization.

We can easily create our smart lists.
Best for creating lead generation, gathering detailed information of companies and newsletter creation for market.
Best for getting alerts if any changes in leadership for target companies and about their recent acquisition news.

I can say one thing is that it doesn't provide the complete information of the company when your paid access is completed. You have to completely depending on the paid version to get the full access of the document .
Although as such nothing dislike from my side as I am using from the long time approximately 5 years+ and it is easy to use.

Overall impact is positive and ROI is quite impressive
My organization especially purchase beacause of data relevancy and clients also recommend us to pull data from Hoovers itself only
User friendly and easy to use interface makes our work in a faster manner and easily understandable database for new joiners as well.

Mostly I prefer D&B Hoovers to grab the financial data and for SWOt analysis. It has one feature in which we can get historical as per future estimates easily for clients analysis. Also it gives the complete information about the management and their boards of directors so that we can create our target list and easily found their contact details at the same place.

Yes, this database has ample of contact details of executives and easily searchable and user friendly filters they have. Sometimes we have to create the leads and found the contact details of target company executives. We can easily create the list and then easily found the contact information like their e-mail IDs and their direct or business number.

It depends upon the situation mostly I prefer D&B Hoovers because of the data relevancy but sometimes it happens Hoovers is not working or is unable to find the details which I required then I move to S&P Capital IQ.

As I am from the research team and it is very useful and suited for me to to get the detailed information about companies including about their geography locations, their products, their recent and historical financial at one go and at one place without wondering here and there. It saves my time alot while doing researching. Also I have set my alerts for weekly newsletter so no need to set alerts again and again on their database just one time creation and everytime you get it in your inbox. Sometimes I feel for private companies data is less and it is less useful. They can improve this thing.
