At our hospitality group, which operates multiple hotels properties across TN, D&B Hoovers has become an essential tool in our business development and sales strategy. We focus on increasing corporate lodging partnerships and long-term room night opportunities, we rely on D&B Hoovers to identify and engage with potential clients across a variety of industries. The tool helps us in prospecting our target audience, helps with identifying decision makers, studying the company profiles and insights prior to making a sales call.

Understanding how to use the tool and utilizing keyword searches to uncover niche businesses that standard filters may miss. It helps us discover small to mid-size vendors who might book short-term stays for workers or clients.
Identifies who we should be reaching out to, particularly the decision-makers or influencers in charge of corporate travel, vendor partnerships, or employee accommodations. Direct email contact allows us to bypass the gatekeepers and deliver tailored corporate rate offers or information on long term lodging packages.
We evaluated a few other tools including ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, but D&B Hoovers emerged as the best overall fit for our hotel sales use case due to its depth of company data, broad industry coverage, and powerful geographic filtering capabilities. Our primary objective was to identify and contact businesses near our hotels that regularly need corporate lodging accommodations, operate project-based or travel-heavy industries, have the decision-making personnel we can reach directly.
