Use Cases and Deployment Scope

DataMotion Secure Email is used by administrative departments to send secure or sensitive information. It addresses HIPAA and concerns for privacy of sensitive data. Some of our physician practices also use it to communicate secure information with their patients, such as forms needed before a visit, medical record releases, photos, and referrals to other physician practices.

Pros and Cons

DataMotion easily secures sensitive and confidential emails.
DataMotion is easy to use on both the sending and receiving ends. It's rare that an end user has an issue accessing a secure message.

I can't think of any areas that DataMotion needs improvement. It's easy to use and has all of the required functions we are looking for.

Return on Investment

DataMotion has allowed us to meet HIPAA requirements for securing patient information, and also business privacy needs for communicating between departments and with outside associates.
DataMotion has improved employee effectiveness by providing a secure means of email communication with our patients and our business associates.

Usability

DataMotion is very simple to use. You can easily select whether or not to encrypt an email upon sending. End users have no problem accessing the secure emails.

Ease of Integration

You can easily integrate with email clients like Outlook, thunderbird, etc. Alternatively the DataMotion web portal can be utilized for sending and receiving secure emails.

Likelihood to Recommend

DataMotion works well and is very easy to use for sending secure emails. It is very easy for recipients to access the email. Patients, physician offices, insurance companies, and law firms are just a few of the sources that we communicate with via DataMotion secure email. We never have issues fulfilling our need for secure communication with this product.
