Overall Satisfaction with DataMotion Secure Email

DataMotion Secure Email is being used across the whole organization. It is used to comply with HIPPA requirements for our clients. It is used to communicate with clients to send and receive medical information. We also used it to send invoices to clients. Our staff used it to communicate internally when HIPPA related information needs to be shared.

  • The address book interface to add users could be made simpler
  • The copy and paste feature could be improved
  • When composing an email the system should automatically search address book to provide less typing of Contact names already existing as a send to the person
  • Positive impact is that easy to use by the whole organization.
  • It meets our HIPPA requirements for sending sensitive information
  • For smaller organizations (less than 10 people) annual cost of use is a bit high

We have been using DataMotion Secure Email for 6 years. We trust DataMotion Secure Email to send our information to meet HIPPA requirements. It works and we have not had an issue with it.
DataMotion Secure Email has been our experience that the system can be used by our employees with minimal instruction. Also, we have not had to send anytime to explain how to use the system to our clients. So the rating we give it is base on [the ease] of use by all users and it has not failed in sending information securely.
For our small Office the use of DataMotion has been extremely easy to implement for our employees and Clients. We do not have a technical support staff to handle a complicated secure email system and we can afford the fine/penalties associated with failing to meet HIPPA compliance that is required for our business.
The need for additional APIs is not required for our purpose or need for using the system. We do not have a technical support staff to maintain a more complicated integrated system. The reason why we use this secure email system is for ease of use for our employees and clients. The most important benefit of the system for our company is that the system works every time when sending HIPPA information to and from our clients.
DataMotion Secure Email is well suited if you need to [send] sensitive information in an encrypted format to recipients that need the information sent in a secure manner. It would be less appropriate for sending [quick] notes or communication that you would send in a less formal or secure manner to others.
