Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

Used across the entire organization for time keeping purposes, leave entitlements and payroll management.

Pros

  • Notifications are great.
  • Intuitive and easy to set up.
  • Reporting is good.

Cons

  • No ability to upload bulk employees.
  • No ability to bulk update schedules.
  • Difficult to grab and drag a shift from 1 day to another when there are more than 75 people on the schedule.
  • Payroll accuracy has been great.
  • Inexpensive tool.
  • Great tool for teams that are remote and need to see where everyone else is scheduled.

Very difficult to manage schedules that frequently change as their is a lot of manual adjustments that need to be made.
It was difficult to set leave in the beginning. I wish I had know that this was something I needed to set up before people began working. Should have know better, I guess, but it was hard to figure out.
Great for operations that do not add lots of people at 1 time. Great for orgs with 1-75 people on schedule. Not great for larger than 150 people in the same schedule/location. Great system for automating leave accrual. Leave request process is not super intuitive and many of our employees enter their leave requests incorrectly.
