Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

Deputy is used to schedule out the number of people on shift any given day. We use the product for any additional items that need to happen during an employee's shift, like training or administrative. Deputy it used by the entire organization, with many individual profiles. It addresses the minimum number of employees needed on shift every day. It also addresses paid time off and appointments.
  • Annotate time off.
  • Schedule hourly information.
  • Provide notes for daily tasks.
  • An undo option for copying shifts.
  • Create teams aside from only using the area and location functions.
  • Instead of copy over cells creating 2 events, a copy over deletes the previous entry (i.e. Excel).
  • Positive - it has allowed 60 employees to readily view not only their schedule, but everyone's within the organization.
  • Negative - employees do not like how difficult it is to view everyone's shifts on the mobile app.
Deputy allows for our job to view the schedule in a safe, encrypted way from the comfort of the employees home. It also allows for more details to be added to one's work day. Unlike Excel, Deputy breaks down the hours, task, days, etc., making it easy for employees to follow what their responsibilities are.

Do you think Deputy delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Deputy's feature set?

Yes

Did Deputy live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Deputy go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Deputy again?

Yes

Some functions, like copying, pasting, and delete, are not very user friendly. Other than a few technical issues, Deputy works well for every level of computer knowledge.
Deputy works well when the work schedule is continuous. Varying shifts on this application will not work well. Deputy also works well for jobs that have hour break downs between tasks.
