Overall Satisfaction with Deputy
We use Deputy organization-wide. Our hourly employees use it to track their time, and we use the backend for timesheet review and approval. It integrates easily with Gusto, our payroll processor. One big issue it solved for us was ease of getting it into the hands of employees as a new company. Everyone just clocks in on their phone.

- Phone clock in and clock out.
- Geotagging of the clock in process.
- Integration with Gusto.
Cons
- The Timesheet approval tool doesn't default to the proper pay period.
- Deputy keeps us from getting too far into the weeks on time clocking.
- Deputy makes timesheet approval a breeze.
We looked at a whole host of competitors, although I can't remember most of their names at the moment. Not a single one was as intuitive as Deputy. Not having a dedicated HR professional on staff, ease of use was paramount, and Deputy became the choice by default with how frustrated we were with the competition.
