Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

We are a small business and we use Deputy as our scheduling system for our onsite team members. It is our online schedule for weekly shifts.

Pros

  • Schedules shifts.
  • GPS for clock on and off.

Cons

  • Task lists for individual people/users would be really helpful for us.
  • Deputy is a great asset when it comes to our ever-changing schedule in the building and construction industry. Means our staff has more time to do other things, rather than spend all day emailing and making phone calls about shift changes.
We previously used ServiceM8 and deputy is much more advanced and can be used on android, which is why we switched. ServiceM8 only had an iPhone app.

It is pretty user-friendly, and the ability to make changes on the app, as an admin, is quite easy.
Xero, Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)
We use Deputy as our calendar schedule and find it great for scheduling shifts for people for the upcoming weeks/month. We would really appreciate it if we could set daily/weekly tasks for people in Deputy to read through and tick off. It would also be really helpful if the deputy could be integrated with Google Calendar or an equivalent calendar.
