Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

Deputy helps keep track of the employee's work hours. It integrates with Xero payroll so we can generate payslip in a super easy way. It minimises human error when it comes to remembering what time they start and finish work. It stops a person's shift if they do not clock out within 24 hours from the start of their shift. The perfect tool for small businesses!

  • Deputy has an app version so its easier to use.
  • I don't use the leave function much on Deputy. Not knowing much about it.
  • I don't think the total earning of an employee is necessary for our business as we use Xero payroll.
  • Support can be a long wait.

  • Minimise time to check staff work hours.
  • Less paper work/admin time.
  • Promote more functions.
  • Post more videos on functionality.

There is always room to improve on customer experience and support service. More prompt response and video seminar to teach admin more functions would be much appreciated.
Easy to use, has an app version, staff are quite happy with this app.
Deputy fulfills our purpose of staff time tracking. For a small business, we don't necessarily have the human resource team to manage staff tracking daily, leave requests, and other HR matters. We want to have minimum trouble when it comes to paying our staff the right amount, not short nor more than they work for. There are a few areas to improve which I have mentioned in the previous question, plus the leave function is not utilised much by us. I would need to know more about it and see if it integrates with Xero payroll before implementing it.
