Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

This [Deputy] is our daily scheduling tool. This is geared for more business use than general law enforcement but is enough for our needs. Law enforcement isn’t worried about an ROI. There are analytics present that are irrelevant for patrol scheduling. There is a chance that as a global tool for the entire organization, there is [a] benefit, but not for a smaller agency.
  • Daily Scheduling
  • Leave Requests
  • Unavailability
  • Multiple roles on daily calendar. I would like to have the ability to assign people multiple shifts or assignments in a different role each day. That is to say I can only assign one person to one type of shift per day whereas I’d like to be able to assign multiple to help the officers manage their day.
  • Shift warning mute
  • Gear for LE
  • Officer efficiency
  • For law enforcement purposes, I want to be able to schedule officers for shifts longer than 8 hours without getting consistent warnings.
  • Microsoft Office 2016 (discontinued)
N/A - we were previously writing our schedule via email.

Yes

Did Deputy live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Deputy go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Deputy again?

Yes

The program is very straight forward and easy to use.
It makes life much easier to give officers one spot to look rather than try and save the original email.

We have officers who are assigned to different beats throughout the day. It would be helpful to allow for multiple assignments to be issue[d] per person per day. Also, as we routinely have 10-hour shifts, I don’t need to see the warning after each entry.
