Overall Satisfaction with Deputy
I use Deputy for my employees to sign in and out of work and lunch breaks. I also use Deputy to approve employee work hours so that I can process payroll. Deputy is also linked to Xero which has simplified our payroll process immensely. I also use Deputy to create a roster [that] can be seen by all my employees.
Pros
- Roster creation and sharing
- Simplify payroll process
- Timesheets for sign in and out
Cons
- Make Mobile app easier to use
- Have more functions available on the mobile app
- More options to remind employees who don't sign in eg phone vibrates or rings
- Saved administration time where payroll used to take 2 hours it now takes 5 minutes
- Accountability for employees as Deputy creates a map of where employees sign in and out from
- Saved time for creating rosters as I used to create a word document each week which I would need to enter each employees name whereas the information is now saved
- Rosters can be copied to another week so a roster could be completed with the touch of a button and then adjusted
I haven't used any other product except manual word documents. Obviously using Deputy has had a huge impact on the efficiency of my administrative tasks such as timesheets rosters and payroll.
