Overall Satisfaction with Dialpad Talk

I use Dialpad Talk to call candidates and to talk within the organization. Anything business related.

Pros

  • The call quality is pretty good and clear.
  • The virtual voice message is quite consistent and can get most of the words.
  • I like the AI calling feature that can transcribe my calls in case I miss anything
  • The status checking within the organization is good as well.

Cons

  • The GIFs feature needs a lot of work for computers.
  • No dark mode
  • sometimes the app crashes and we can't make any calls and it says we are on a call even though we aren't.
  • sometimes lags when making a call.
  • the analytics part does cause a lot of micromanagement
Didn't get to select which service to use as it is the employer's choice. It tops RingCentral Contact Center as it is more simple to use but audio quality from RingCentral Contact Center is better in my opinion.

I think it's good when it comes to making calls in general, it's a great VOIP service to use. There isn't much of anywhere that Dialpad Talk doesn't really work well in other than the fact it's only being used for business and not for personal. Maybe could have the app integrated as a default messaging app so we can also text from our personal phone number and regular text messages there so we don't need to open too many apps and just use one app. Kind of like Slack.
