Overall Satisfaction with Diligent Boards

Diligent Boards is used by my company for all board and committee meetings. Additionally, we use it for D&O Questionnaires and Board and Committee evaluations. Our mergers & acquisition team also uses to review pending mergers with senior management. This provides a safe and secure way to share confidential information without having to send emails around.

Pros

  • easy to use
  • web version where you can access anywhere.

Cons

  • Linking pages on the web version is hard if linking to a specific page.
  • I would love to use agenda builder but need to be able to manipulate the data.
  • Secure File share directly uploading to Boards.
  • Secure sharing
  • easy to use
  • adaptability
  • No longer printing materials
  • security of our network
The 24 Hour Support line is available anytime of day or night and they work with you until you problem is resolved. Our directors have started calling them directly with no customer service issues.
This is not really known to me from a security perspective, but our cyber team reviewed the product thoroughly and has signed off on the product.
While they can be more expensive than other providers. Their product just stands head and tall above the rest. It would be hard to convince our board to move away from Diligent. They are also continuously updating, improving and offering new features and gives the customer opportunities to provide feedback.

Transitioning our company's M&A team to Diligent for discussion materials has saved time and efficiencies between that team and the senior management and provides secure way to share this confidential information. It also required very little training to the new administrator. I really cannot thinking of anything where it would be less appropriate. You can use it for so many things.
