Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
We had some issues with file storage and sharing for very large files, and the workaround recommended by our IT department was to use Dropbox for our team to use to share large files that exceed maximum email attachment limits both internally and with our printer. Currently, it is only being used by our department.
- User friendliness
- Stability
- Ease of setup
- Enhanced security features
- Customer service is not very good and difficult to get hold of
- The help features and FAQ are frustrating to use because they send you round in circles.
- It came in handy before we fully moved to cloud storage
- It caused me to lose some time searching for answers to questions
- It made it easy to access some docs while I was traveling for business
In all honesty, our organization is far more likely to implement or recommend Google Drive. I find file management easier on Google and prefer their platform overall. I only have control over the tool our team uses, and I plan to fight to use Google instead of using Dropbox. Service is pretty bad, even for paying customers.
