Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
Dropbox is used as a repository for our Dental offices, ike a filing cabinetfor use by the accounting team for several offices all across the United states for use accross the world by our remote team. It helps with timely use of documents once requested an invoice can be uploaded and reflect in realtime
Pros
- uploading the documents in real time
- syncing files within an hour provided the internet speed is good
- the security - 6 digit code for login
- the option to login as an app on the desktop or remaining logged in via google chrome
- the 15gb free storage is adequate free space
Cons
- security weakness- Dropbox remaining logged in if used via chrome in my experience
- 15gb of space can be very little when scans (pictures) need to be uploaded
- the cost of the additional storage can be expensive
- Saves time as the link is shared to where the document has been filed
- efficiency is improved as filing is in a central place
- offline functionality if the app is downloaded
