Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
We use Dropbox as our entire server for multiple businesses within our organisation. With work from home, remote and travelling workforce plus external consultants - access to current information and files is critical. Access must be simple and streamlined across multiple platforms - web, app, android & apple plus offline activity is required for remote locations. Dropbox does this with ease.
- Access via multiple platforms
- Integrations with Apple for simple uploading & access
- Offline activity with immediate uploading when in wifi
- File access tracking
- Sharing folders outside of organisation (such as contractors/consultants) can sometimes be clunky & want to add them to my organisation for a fee.
- Took a while to learn how to give different users access to different folders. Still struggling to make this a simple action to be honest!
- Retrospective activity reports of file/folder activity is difficult to navigate and I actually haven't worked out how to do it
- Streamlined administration - freed up time for other tasks.
- Maintaining select folders as offline only, yet still able to find all files to download as required - reduced storage requirements of devices to minimise technology spend
- Immediate file share with staff, reducing email activity
