Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
We use Dropbox for most of our file storage and allow all staff to access documents regardless of their location. Since we work remotely, we do not have a physical location with a server or on-site network system, so Dropbox is a great system for organizing a lot of material like this.
Pros
- File storage.
- Integration with desktop and browser formats.
- File sharing.
- Security
Cons
- Allowing multiple users to work on the same file in real time would be useful.
- Increased efficiency from better file storage and sharing.
- Important documents are backed up and secure.
- Larger numbers of staff can be supported with a good organization system.
Google Drive is probably less secure but is better suited to real-time collaboration on files by multiple users and integrates better with Gmail.
