Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
I use Dropbox to share important files, to collaborate with team members, and as a secondary backup system. It solves issues with remote workers and the ability to handle large files which we would have trouble sharing and collaborating with via email. I find it helpful in that you can target certain files for sharing even if they're in a larger folder.
Pros
- Seamless desktop integration, having Dropbox live in my sidebar is very helpful.
- Offers a range of memberships, if I need to share with someone who has a free membership it is still an easy way to transfer large files.
- I love that it also automatically backs up my photos to the cloud.
- The mobile app gives me the ability to share files even away from my computer, which has saved me more than once!
Cons
- improve the photo view, it jumps around when I try to view from the timeline and it is hard to select the photo
- Eliminated the need for an external backup drive
- Creates happy clients for the ability to delivery assets quickly
- Ease of use for file delivery to third party vendors
