Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We heavily depend upon Dropbox to maintain files across our organization, which is a primarily remote workplace. It also allows us to edit files simultaneously. I essentially use it as my main storage location for all of my files. I often use it to send linked files to people outside of our organization as well.

It makes a lot of sense to me, but it can be tricky for other colleagues, especially those who are not as familiar with cloud-stored apps, to use.

Google Drive

I like the Dropbox can live on my computer in the Finder, while Google doesn't do that.

It is great for a team that is working together, but remotely. It can be tricky when sharing files with people outside of your team. It also requires a bit of tech savvy for everyone involved so that files do not become misorganized, etc.
