Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

I mostly use it to store novel manuscript I'm editing for clients so they can access them and work on them when I've done each individual edit. Because we both have the same copies on our own computers it makes it easier to coordinate.

Pros

  • We're able to retain copies at various stages of the edit so we can refer back.
  • Allows us both to work in our own Microsoft Word environment with track changes.
  • Also allows the sharing of contract details without using email.

Cons

  • Sometimes we have problems with the sync feature, usually due to the program hasn't restarted with a reboot.
  • It cuts down on the number of emails required to do the job.
  • Would like to not have to use a separate app for signing documents.
