Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

We use it in terms of sending documents to external sources, such as potential investors, legal consultants, construction, PR & Media, External Marketing agencies, Accounting. We use this is as a broad scale platform that allows us to share specific documents without risking our internal data.

Pros

  • Organization tools
  • Ease of external exporting
  • User-friendly platform
  • Great customer service

Cons

  • Potentially maybe expanding the linking options to be a bit more niche of options?
  • Color coded system/design to differentiate folders, etc
  • Makes sharing information and classified documents safe
  • Allows for ease of any user if they're not typically tech savvy. All they need to do it upload or click a link to share.
Because we orginally got it for sales due to someone having certain technical limitations, and this has made it alot easier for them to navigate. So much so, that we've expanded the usage of our company Dropbox to other departments.
It it is nice to be able to house specific documents without potentially sacrificing internal company data through sharepooint. especially if people don't have a microsoft account.

I think it's well suited if you work with a lot of external organizations. If not, if you're working with an agency, i.e., a place where a lot of work is done internally and most of the time have their own systems, or things are shared directly with clients as it is client facing, it may not be the best option.
