Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Dropbox Business for sharing files internally, with clients and with vendors. It's especially helpful for those who don't have access to our servers. It's also the best for sharing very large files.

Return on Investment

Allows us to send large and unique files quickly. It speeds up the process of working with vendors and keeps projects moving along.
Ability to share files when people are not able to access the server: priceless!

Alternatives Considered

OneDrive and WebDAM

If all our vendors and clients used OneDrive, GoogleDrive or WebDAM we would not have the need for Dropbox, but because they don't we know that we can use Dropbox anytime and anywhere.

Performance

We have never had an issue with Dropbox, it's there when and where we need it and allows us to complete file send and projects on a timely basis.

Usability

It's easy to learn and train on. Again, it is available anytime, anywhere.

Likelihood to Recommend

Dropbox Business works great for sharing large files, especially videos and audio files. We find it's the best option for sharing internationally. It is not appropriate for sharing smaller sized files you can just link to or attact— it becomes more work than you need.
