Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox Business
We use Dropbox Business to synchronize, transfer and store data in our daily studio work. We use it when working with freelancers if we need quick results from them. We also use it for paperwork with our customers. Sometimes it is used by studio employees working from home if it is not possible to use VPN.
- Dropbox works great in conjunction with Google Mail, Microsoft Office 360.
- Simple authorization system as well as administration.
- Service is present on all platforms (Windows, Linux, iOs, Android)
- Works in background mode and does not overload the operating system by synchronizing updated files on the fly.
- Dropbox saves the files history and it often helps to avoid errors just retrieving backup versions of the document.
- The system of protection of files stored in the cloud space is not very clear, so there is no certainty that the data is completely safe. Therefore, we use mainly to store data that does not require increased privacy.
- There is a limit of two to three TB
- The price of the service is high for small businesses compared to Resilio Sync
- English is preferred when communicating with customer support for a faster result.
- There were problems in synchronizing files with a large size (more than 1 GB), which did not contribute to efficiency.
- Dropbox speeds up the exchange of documents which allows us to make changes in a file on the fly.
- The price of the service is high even with a good choice of plans.
- Cross-platform integration with Google and Microsoft solutions allows us to work more efficiently.
We use all available services to store information.
