Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Dropbox is used by our organization as well as myself for my personal work. It's a really great product for file storage and sharing between multiple users. Most of the features were not known until I was using for myself, but when I was a part of a team in my organization that used Dropbox for file sharing I came to know about its features.

Pros and Cons

Sharing between systems is really done well by Dropbox.
If a file is modified by any user on one system it sends notifications to others about the same.
Integration with many different products around the globe.

I faced some syncing issues in the Linux system (Linux Mint distros) while using the desktop application for Dropbox.

Return on Investment

Sharing made easy.

Our organization doesn't allow hard drives or pen drives, so Dropbox helped a lot.

I never faced any issues using this product except syncing issue in the Linux system, that's why this earned a 10 rating.

It's easy to use, no technical knowledge required.

Likelihood to Recommend

If any team is using any same shared folders for documents and files, then anyone can share files with everyone within seconds. We can just move our files to a Dropbox folder on our system and it will sync automatically, and notifications will be sent to other users about the modification or addition of file. Then another person can open the Dropbox folder in their system to access files. No need for hard drives or pen drives.
