Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox Business

Dropbox Business is used in my organization both to house company documents and for project collaboration. Although it is used by the company as a whole, it is used to a greater extent by departments where team members are spread throughout the country and need to collaborate on documents or share documents easily. Dropbox Business allows this to happen easily.
  • Collaboration.
  • Document storage.
  • Price - other programs do similar functions for cheaper.
  • Functionality is not as intuitive.
  • Faster collaboration on projects.
  • Better communication between departments.
Our company actually uses both Dropbox Business and Google Drive but we use them for different things. We selected Dropbox Business because it seemed more confidential at the time we started using it and seemed to have more storage space. It also seems to be easier and more seamless to share folders and files with those outside the company with Dropbox Business.
Personally I did not have to deal with support often. However, my rating for this question is related to the frequently asked questions and instructional videos Dropbox Business has available. I do not think that the available instructional videos or helps were all that helpful and I had to go outside the program to find help when I got stuck or needed to figure out how to do something.

Do you think Dropbox Business delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Dropbox Business's feature set?

No

Did Dropbox Business live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Dropbox Business go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Dropbox Business again?

No

Dropbox Business is excellent for situations when you need to share or collaborate on projects with others who work in various locations. Additionally, people outside the company can be given access to specific documents or folders, making it easy to collaborate on projects with other businesses as well. Dropbox Business may be less appropriate if you are looking to create documents or projects directly from this program. To my knowledge, it does not have the capability to create documents within the program.
