Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox Business

We use Dropbox both for occasional internal file storage, external file delivery to clients, as well as integration with ebook reading applications as a convenient way to load EPUB and PDF books into an app. For internal file storage, we do not use it very much. We use it more for delivering assets to clients. And, finally, we have Dropbox integration into our applications which allows users to easily import ebooks.
  • Block-level sync and sync customization options.
  • Easily manage shared folders.
  • Cost is higher than some competitors for similar service.
  • Not as many third-party integrations as some competitors.
  • Dropbox has had a positive impact in allowing us to easily interact with clients who use it, by accessing their files and sending files to them without bothering them to make a new account through another service.
  • Dropbox has helped our users tremendously through its integration with our applications allowing users to easily load up ebooks on their devices.
  • Box, Google Drive and MEGA
We use many different file storage, versioning, sharing and document collaboration services. We are not exclusively using Dropbox. Rather, we use Dropbox Business when it is appropriate, like delivering to clients who use it. We also use it internally some, and as mentioned, we chose to integrate Dropbox in our applications so users can easily import ebooks rather than integrating with Google Drive, Box, or another competitor. The reason we chose Dropbox is because of the ease of integration, robustness of their SDK and API, and because of their large marketshare. We decided that the majority of our users would be happy using Dropbox to load files onto their devices, rather than Google Drive or Box.
We have never contacted customer support but there is a great community online for supporting integration with the SDK and troubleshooting basic problems one might run into. As far as I can tell, their support is top notch, and the community backing helps tremendously in integrating Dropbox with third-party applications.

It is well-suited when security is a priority, as it is highly secure. It is also well-suited when you have a higher budget and need a more robust featureset than some of its more affordable competitors. Given its market share, it is also appropriate to use Dropbox where you have a wide array of clients, because chances are, many of them will already be using it.

Yes - The mobile interface is quite easy to use and I have used it a number of times to find a file quickly, or give someone access to a file or folder when I'm on the go. I wouldn't recommend using the mobile interface as a primary way of interacting with the service but it works fine and is easy to use when another option is not available.
Well-designed, smart, packed with functionality without being overwhelming—Dropbox knows what they are doing and they do it well. They know what users want from the service and they make sure that all the normal use cases are intuitive and at your fingertips. I have never had a hard time finding things with Dropbox and I think their usability is excellent.
