Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox Sign

We use Dropbox Sign daily to collect signatures from our clients on fee contracts and court documents to retain us. Many of our clients live out of state, and Dropbox Sign helps us collect signatures instantly without emailing, downloading, signing, scanning, emailing, or mailing the originals back to us. It's also easy to use, track which documents are missing signatures, trigger reminders, and access any past fully executed documents.

Pros

  • User-friendly. No training of any sort needed to use. It's pretty self-explanatory.
  • Follow-ups. If a document goes unsigned, it automatically sends reminders, but you can also easily trigger reminders to be emailed.
  • The notifications are also super helpful. An email is sent if the signer even opens the document. It lets me know that someone saw what I sent them. I like getting another notification after they sign and a final email after everyone has signed the documents, including the executed document as an attachment. It's so helpful!

Cons

  • More font options. Some of the signature fonts are a little too bold. It would be nice to have more options that look realistic (not bold nor too neat).
  • Odd font size options are all even numbers. It would be nice to pick a font size between two numbers.
  • An "X" option for checkboxes instead of the check mark.
  • Closing criminal defense cases faster.
  • Allowing our clients to resolve cases from out of state/saving them from travel.
  • Saving paper. I often digitally sign a document as the only signer. This saves paper that would've otherwise been printed to fill it out by hand, then scanned and tossed.
I've never had an issue with it. Its interface is very beginner-friendly. I use many tools/applications on a daily basis, and every so often, something goes wrong or crashes. But of all the crashes and bugs we've had to deal with, I can't say that I've ever seen Dropbox Sign down or had any sort of issues. It always runs smoothly and is very reliable.
PandaDoc has an interface that isn't as simple but once you get used to it, it's really not bad. The biggest con is that I've had issues when using it where it glitches or just isn't loading. I think it's been issues on the back end that required ticketing. In the end, I didn't find it as reliable. We've never had an issue with Dropbox Sign and we still use it daily.

Yes

Would you buy Dropbox Sign again?

Yes

Someone who has never used Dropbox Sign before could quickly figure it out without needing a tutorial or guide. It is very useful in instantly collecting signatures and keeping others in the loop as well, even if they aren't signers. I love that there's an option to cc someone in basically and they'll be able to see the documents and when it's signed. It's also impossible to miss a document not being signed because it automatically sends reminders to signers if they do not sign and emails reminders daily, letting me know how many documents are pending signatures.
