Overall Satisfaction with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud
We use Druva Data Resiliency Cloud since it is super easy to use with a single pane of glass with Advanced Ransomware Protection. It helps us have less data on the office premises and have the cloud manage most of our backup needs. AWS end cloud provides both Glacier and warm storage which is also secure.
- The backups are airtight and immutable.
- The backups are also encrypted and deduped.
- In case of any Ransomware attack we're also offered curated snapshots and a quarantine bay.
- Azure VM backups which are currently in the pipeline.
- It can be a little pricey.
- Some bugs show up when the GUI is updated sometimes.
- We have definitely saved costs in terms of investing on servers and database admins.
- The backup process is much smoother now since the product essentially runs on its own once set up.
- The AWS end destination cloud is secure and multilayered from protection point of view.
We use Druva Data Resiliency Cloud for Exchange Online, Sharepoint and OneDrive. It was easy to implement, and the GUI offers easy and flexible options to filter and sort by user mailboxes, storage space consumption and license type. It also provides free Shared resources for backing up shared mailboxes, MS Teams is also available which is helpful.
While we like both Druva Data Resiliency Cloud and Veeam, what sets Druva Data Resiliency Cloud apart is it is much easier to deploy for O365 cloud-to-cloud backups, we didn't need any additional infrastructure, whereas Veeam wasn't as flexible with the deployment, so it was an easy pick. Pricing-wise also Veeam is a lot on the higher side compared to Druva Data Resiliency Cloud.
