Overall Satisfaction with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud
We use Druva Data Resiliency Cloud extensively for both the Phoenix and Insync offerings. It is our primarily solution for our backups, immutable air-gap, and disaster recovery. My company's expectations of labor hours saved, level of customer service, and the feeling of total data security are all met through what this company provides.
- Responsiveness to help requests.
- Unprompted cadence from the Customer Success team to make sure we're utilizing our investment efficiently.
- Long term retention policies to help us save money by moving data in AWS Glacier storage tier.
- In depth documentation to implement and try demos.
- Azure as a VM would be a great feature to have.
- Some app aware backups are missing for the Phoenix workloads.
- It would be easier on the eyes if they implemented a dark theme to their website.
- We have definitely saved a lot of money in the form of deduplication of data.
- Another ROI is the amount of time and admin work that is saved.
- Our backups are also pretty much plug and play, we just created the policies and haven't had to make many changes.
We currently protect the Office 365 suite with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud (Exchange, Teams, and OneDrive). Druva Data Resiliency Cloud has seamlessly protected all of these workloads without any noticeable issues, we just generate the token and the users are imported without any bottlenecks. Even with the heavy Teams recording-related data; we don't see any major backup failures. So we're really happy with this.
We had been using Druva for Insync (endpoints) and Phoenix (HyperV). We were using Syncovery for data on servers (NAS and FileServer backups). Syncovery started encountering errors in the automation causing our department to have to manually kick off backups nightly. When a help request to fix the automation was placed, Syncovery made it clear that they had no intention to help us, despite paying a yearly subscription for help. Having had a good experience with Druva with their other products, we decided to consolidate into one backup solution and have been happily automated ever since.
